SUMMER DRINK DRUG DRIVING CAMPAIGN KICKS-OFF
Mid-Formartine SNP councillor and Vice-Chairman of Grampian Police Joint Board Allan Hendry has warned drivers that they will be caught if they take drugs or drink alcohol and then decide to drive. The warning came as Grampian Police kicks-off its summer campaign as part of an initiative by ACPOS (the Association of Chief Police Officers) across Scotland.
Commenting, Councillor Hendry said:
“There really is no excuse these days for such anti-social behaviour which threatens the lives of those driving under the influence and other innocent road users.
“I very much welcome this campaign which is aimed at making Grampian’s roads safer for law-abiding road users and driving home the message that taking drugs or drinking and driving is unacceptable.”
