McRae Secures Toilet Upgrade For Crimond School After Parents' Concern
>> 30 April 2012
Peterhead North & Rattray SNP councillor Fiona McRae has received a commitment from Aberdeenshire Council’s property department that the toilets at Crimond School will be upgraded as part of forthcoming works at the school.
Cllr McRae was contacted by parents concerned at the condition of the toilet facilities at the school and made representations to the council to have upgrade works carried out as soon as possible. Head of Property at the council, Allan Whyte, confirmed to Cllr McRae on Friday that upgrade works would be carried out along with the planned roof and window upgrade project.
“This is very good news indeed. Parents were very concerned at the condition of the toilet facilities at the school and raised the matter with me.
“I am pleased that the council’s Property Department has responded so quickly to agree to my request and I hope the works can now be carried out as swiftly as possible.”
