Thomson Comments on Ellon Academy Vandalism

>> 28 May 2013

Commenting on the news that a building and classroom area at Ellon Academy were vandalised between the afternoon of Sunday 26 May and the morning of Monday 27 May causing a three figure sum of damage, Ellon & District SNP Councillor Richard Thomson said:

“I condemn any act of vandalism, but there’s something particularly pointless about vandalising public property given that we all have to pay for it in the end.

“This is disruption which I’m sure teachers and pupils could well do without in the exam period. I hope that anyone with any information on who might be responsible will take it to the police as quickly as possible.”
