North-east Scotland SNP MSP Christian Allard will attend the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival at Portsoy on Saturday 22 June and also hold a surgery for constituents at the festival.

Speaking ahead of the event, the French-born MSP said:

“I go every year with my grandchildren and will be delighted to support the fishing industry I have been working in for the last 28 years. The organisers of the Festival deserve great recognition for making this event such a success over the course of the past two decades.

“As an MSP for the North-east, I am very much looking forward to tasting more local seafood caught and processed locally after the very successful Seafood Pavilion at the Taste of Grampian which took place in Thainstone on the 1st of June.”
