SALMOND CONGRATULATES INVERURIE PARENT COUNCIL ON FUNDING BOOST

Local Gordon MSP, Alex Salmond, has today welcomed the Awards for All announcement that Keithhall School Parent Council in the Gordon constituency has recently received a £6,000 grant from Big Lottery Fund.

Keithhall School Parent Council is based in Inverurie and wish to install a Fitness and Adventure Trail in the playground at Keithhall Primary School. This grant for £6000 will part fund purchase and installation costs.

Congratulating the group, Mr Salmond said:

“This is fantastic news and I would like to congratulate Christiana Reid on securing this much sought after funding, which I know will go a long way to helping benefit the community.

“It’s great to see so many small groups coming forward with the aim of making a big difference to their local communities and I would encourage other groups who think that they fit the criteria to apply also."
